Robert Pickering

July 7, 1943 - July 9, 2015

ROBERT passed away peacefully in Raymond at the age of 72.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Carolyn; their four children: Marnie (Tony) Bland, Tricia (Donald) Johnston, Travis Pickering, Ragean (Henry) Jones; 10 grandchildren; his sister Pamela (Richard) Malone; sisters-in-law Kathie Pickering, Brenda Restall, Ellen (Dale) Krueger, as well as brother-in-law Bruce (Wendy) Restall.

Bob was predeceased by his mother Daisy Pickering, father William Pickering, brothers Lawrence and Ronald Pickering and his brother-in-law Brian Restall.

Bob was born in Lethbridge and spent his childhood in the Picture Butte - Turin area. He married Carolyn (Restall) on June 14, 1969 in Picture Butte.

He loved spending time with family and friends as well as hunting, fishing, camping and playing cards. Bob was a kind and caring man who was always willing to help others. He will be remembered for his crazy sense of humor, teasing kids and telling tall tales.

Bob will always be loved and greatly missed.

A private family Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015, with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, PICTURE BUTTE CHAPEL, 404 Willow Avenue, Picture Butte.

Friends may meet the family at the church prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m.
