She will be dearly missed by her husband of 36 years, Roger J. Baldry, her children: Mindy (Matt) Hunter, Christy (Benson) Porter, Ryan (Sarabeth) Baldry, Derek (Lindsay) Baldry, Stephanie Baldry, Brooke (Braydon) Byam, Brett Baldry, Austin Baldry, and her 15 beautiful grandchildren. She was born in Raymond on May 25, 1952 to Howard and Ethel Hicken and loved by her 10 brothers and sisters: Steven, Joan, Jeanne, Maureen (deceased), Tom, Brian, Patrick, Michael, Randy, and Mark. Living in Raymond surrounded by her large family has always been a joy and blessing to Peggy.
Peggy was blessed with a life full of joy and love. She had a great talent and love of music. One of her greatest joys was to sing with her sisters and mother and they performed their quartets often--known simply as the "Hicken Sisters." She loved hiking and being surrounded by nature. She has hiked many of the majestic peaks of Waterton and Glacier Parks with her dear friends the "Mountain Mommas." She loved spending time with her grandchildren playing, reading books, baking cookies or watching some of their favorite movies. Of all her joys the greatest was being a wife and mother. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved serving in her church. She had a special love for genealogy.
Peggy was a good friend. She was kind and encouraging. She was optimistic. People loved her and loved to be around her. This was never so evident as the last two months of her life when the love she has always given to others was poured back in so many kind ways.
