Doreen was born on June 18, 1944 to Leo and Gladys Klemky in Edmonton, Alberta. She was the eldest of their four children.
Doreen is survived by her three children, Tony (Lydia) Clark of Tyee Lake, B.C., David (Angela) Clark of Calgary, and Diana (Todd) Kronebusch of Medicine Hat. Her much cherished grandchildren, Brandon Clark, Shawn and Amy Clark, Aaron, James and Daniel Kronebusch. She is also survived by her sisters, Val (Phil) Parmley of Courtney, B.C., Barb Bambrick of Erskine, her brother, Allan (Carol Ann) Klemky of Macklin, Sask., her special and very loved cousin, Joyce (John) Rebus of Stony Plain, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family gratefully acknowledges the support of the organizations that were near and dear to her, the Eastern Star, the Red Hat Society and Communities in Bloom. We will remember Doreen for her generous, fun-loving and gracious presence in our lives. In honor of Doreen please consider signing your organ donor card.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 1st, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, with Rev. Elizabeth Brown of the First United Church officiating.
