Derek Hart

DEREK JAMES HART passed away unexpectedly at the Raymond Health Centre on May 1, 2015 at the age of 37.

As a youth he was very adventurous and willing to try almost anything that seemed exciting. He especially enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, water skiing, as well as baseball and basketball.

As an adult his mobility became severely hampered by the progressive effect of a knee injury suffered when he was a young boy. Although active participation in these activities was not possible for him, he enjoyed watching others have fun.

He loved his family dearly and appreciated their support and love as well. He was an amazing father, husband, son and friend.

He is survived by his wife Jennie, and his children: Conrey, Sammie, and Slater; his parents Jim and Heather Hart; brothers Joel and Bernie (Sam) Hart; and grandparents Ken and Merna Hart; his in-laws Scott and Dallene Foss and their children, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents Joseph and Pauline Critchfield.

Friends may meet the family on Thursday, May 7 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the LDS - Taylor Street Chapel in Raymond, or prior to the funeral service on Friday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, TAYLOR STREET CHAPEL, 221 North, 400 West, Raymond.

Interment to follow in the Magrath Cemetery.
