He is the loving father of: Carrie (Casey) Kerner, Stephanie (Rob) May, Doug Jensen, and Warren (Becky) Molnar. Alex leaves behind nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild; also a brother Frank (Jeanine) Molnar, a sister Mary (Larry) Glover, sister-in-law Jeanne Molnar, brother-in-law Allen Meroniuk, and many nieces and nephews.
Alex is predeceased by his parents Steve and Anna Molnar, sister Elizabeth Meroniuk, and brother Joseph Molnar.
Alex loved his career as a trucker for over 50 years. He enjoyed swimming, biking, poker and travelling.
The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, with Pastor Dave Acree officiating. A family interment will be held prior to the Service at 10:00 a.m. at Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ireland and the staff at St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre.
