Wayne Matthews Obituary

Wayne Elmer Matthews, age 85, died at his home of recent years in Fairmont Extendicare, Lethbridge. Wayne was born November 8, 1939, in Claresholm, AB, and went to heaven to be with his Lord and Saviour on May 4, 2025.

Wayne is survived by his sons Roger (Debbie) Matthews, Sean (Allison) Matthews, six grandchildren, Mitchel, Zackary, Russell (Amanda), Tegan (Josh), Celine (Colin), Barbara Anne and ten great grandchildren.

Wayne was predeceased by his wife, Almeta (Wilton), and his daughter, Judy Lumley.

Wayne was a good man and a loving father who was loved and will be missed.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Fairmont Extendicare for the wonderful care they gave Wayne in his final years.
