It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Tyler Lance Nilsson, cherished son of Lance Earl Nilsson and dear brother of Kendra-Renae, Logan, and Aubrey Nilsson.
Tyler was born on February 5, 2003 in Lethbridge, Alberta to Lance and Amanda Nilsson. Tyler was a quiet, gentle, and intelligent young man who excelled at art, math, and computer science. He enjoyed cooking savory meals, and took pride in weight lifting and cultivating a healthy lifestyle. He was a creative and innovative person, always perfecting his methods in whatever he endeavored to accomplish, such as mathematics and music composition. He had a quirky sense of humor but, at the same time, he was a deep thinker who enjoyed philosophy. He had exceptional talents and skills in computer programming languages, and subsequently was a mentor and teacher to his younger brother Logan.
Throughout his education, Tyler had received several academic awards. He also earned significant accolades for his artwork. Tyler enjoyed and always looked forward to family gatherings with his grandparents Earl and Donna Nilsson and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, who loved him and miss him dearly. Tyler passed away on June 3, 2022. He was predeceased by his mother.
To celebrate Tyler's life, a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, Lethbridge, with a private interment to follow.
