Tracy Jo Anderson, 54, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024 after over ten years of battling with health issues.
Tracy was born in Magrath, Alberta on March 15, 1970 to Kaye and Jackie Anderson. She graduated from Raymond High School in 1988. Tracy was goalie for the Canadian Women's Professional Soccer team, travelling to England, France and Japan. She then attended S.A.I.T. in Calgary, Alberta where she graduated and worked as a paramedic for four years. She also worked as a manager, armed guard, meter reader, laboratory technician, and care-giver. Tracy coached various sport teams, raised funds for the Canadian Cancer Society and was a public speaker for substance abuse. She loved fishing, camping and spending time on the Oregon coast. She never missed a birthday of any family member including nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. Tracy's selfless acts of love have touched the lives of so many that knew her.
She is survived by her parents, Kaye and Jackie Anderson; her brother, John Mark Anderson; sisters, Dawn Dee Anderson and Terri Kay (Tony) Salmon; eight nephews, four nieces, eight grand-nieces and eight grand-nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center in Raymond, AB, (2nd North 200 W), with interment at Temple Hill Cemetery to follow. The family will meet with friends prior to service beginning at 10:15 am.
