Richard Allen Parascak

    Richard Allen “Rick” Parascak           July 20, 1949 – July 9, 2024

    It is with sadness in our hearts Rick’s family announces that, free from pain and suffering, Rick has boarded his final flight to The Islands in the Sky where he will join his wife Wendy and their fur babies, Boomer, Murray and his little sidekick Koji, all who journeyed before him.

    He will also be greeted with great joy by his loving family who are waiting with open arms, Alohas, Leis, Hungarian chicken soup, cabbage rolls, Hurka and of course a cold Blue Hawaii, one of Rick’s favorite Island cocktails. His best buddy Mark is also ready and waiting to go catch “The Big One That Got Away” and enjoy a cold Molson Canadian or two and life will be good once again.

    I will say goodbye now, so you don’t miss your flight and end with our nightly ritual by saying “See Ya Later, Love You Little Brother” to which you ALWAYS replied, “Love You Too.” Rest in Peace now till we meet again and always remember to “Hang Loose.”

    Remembered forever by you Big Sis, Cynthia Harris, your nephews, Scott (Ronda) Harris and Cam (Angie) Harris and their families as well as Uncle Bill (Diane) Parascak and their families.

    At Rick’s request, there will be no funeral service. He will be privately remembered by his loving family. Flowers and donations are gratefully declined. Cremation entrusted to Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home.
