In Loving Memory of Richard David Crockett
June 29, 1956 – May 29, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Richard David Crockett, affectionately known to many as Rick, on May 29, 2026. His loss leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Rick was predeceased by his father, Albert Robert Roy Crockett in 2017; his mother, Mildred Rushton Crockett in 1987; and his brother, Brian Kim Crockett in 2009.
He is lovingly remembered by his sister, Terri; his children, Susan, Frank, David and Kelsey; his cherished granddaughters, Shaylee and Aspen; as well as hundreds of friends, acquaintances, and extended family members whose lives were touched by his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit.
Rick embraced life wholeheartedly and lived it on his own terms.
He found joy in the outdoors and was happiest when surrounded by nature, whether hunting, fishing, or simply appreciating the beauty of the world around him.
He was musically gifted, loved cats, enjoyed motocross and RC cars, and approached every passion with enthusiasm and curiosity.
More than his hobbies, Rick will be remembered for the way he treated people. He never met a stranger—only a friend he had not yet gotten to know. He was the kind of man who would drop everything to lend a hand, offer support without hesitation, and make others feel welcome wherever he went. His generosity, warmth, and genuine interest in others earned him the respect and affection of countless people throughout his life.
Above all else, Rick loved his family. The memories he created, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave will remain with those who knew him forever.
Though his absence is felt deeply, his spirit lives on in the stories, laughter, adventures, and friendships he leaves behind. He will be greatly missed and loved.
