Michael Thomas Fitzgerald

At the age of 76, Michael Thomas Fitzgerald passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, at Legion Terrace in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Michael was a loving son to Mary and Ed Fitzgerald (both predeceased), a devoted father to Emma and Joshua, and a cherished grandfather to Damian. He was a dear brother to John (predeceased) and his wife Diane (predeceased), as well as to Leslie and Kathy. He was a proud uncle to Mark, Neal, and Kate.

Michael was also a beloved and treasured friend to Armanda of Osoyoos, BC.

Michael’s kindness, compassion, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. His presence brought warmth and richness to all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

Michael carried a deep and abiding love for God. His faith in Christ was strong, and he often spoke of the day he would be reunited with his loved ones.

It brings comfort to know that he has now joined his Heavenly Father, reunited with his mother, father, brother, and all who went before him—just as he believed he would.

He is missed, deeply loved, and forever remembered.
