Karen Orlla Bullock

     Karen Orlla Bullock (nee Tustian), age 71, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, July 5th, 2020 from Multiple Myeloma which she battled for four years. She was born November 24, 1948 in St. Thomas, Ontario to Eva Lillian Morris and Richard Orval Tustian. She married her friend and love, Kenneth Wayne Bullock, on September 11, 1976 who predeceased her in 2018.

     Karen loved to laugh. Anyone who knows her will remember her distinctive laugh. She was mischevious and enjoyed sharing her love of laughter and humour in the form of teasing and pranks. If someone put stink bombs or firecrackers in the outhouse at girls camp or family reunions, you could bet it was Karen. She was always up for some adventure especially with her 2 best friends, Joyce and Cheryl, those 3 were trouble. Mom’s home was always a welcome place, for family to stay and the neighbourhood kids looking for treats. Our friends were her kids too.

     She loved horses, pink depression glass, lighthouses and anything that reminded her of her home in Bridgewater, NS.

     Her life was dedicated to living the gospel of Jesus Christ. She had a passion for her Savior and dedicated two years of her life serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in London, England. She remained true to her faith to the end.

     Besides her loving husband, Karen is predeceased by both her parents, her sister Janice (Ron) McBride and brother Bob (Jan) Tustian.

     She is survived by her brother Owen; sister Gloria (Edgar) Richards; sister Dianne (Wayne) Hunt; and sister Molly (Elijah ‘Johnny’) Hirtle; her 4 Children Krista (Anthony) Nai, Karma (Michael) Heninger, Kasson (Renee) Bullock, Kendra (Douglas) Tanner; 13 grandchildren, Sydney Nai, Haylie Nai, Tuione Nai, Matteo Nai, Kaitlyn Heninger, Jayla Bullock, Benjamin Bullock, Lilly Bullock, Finn Bullock, Nixon Bullock, Violet Tanner, Norah Tanner, and Edwin Dain Tanner; plus many nephews and nieces. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

     Please join us in celebrating her life Saturday afternoon July 25th, 2020, at 1:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lethbridge Alberta Stake Centre, 2410 28th St. S, Lethbridge, AB T1K 2V9. The funeral service will be LIVE STREAMED from this obituary for those who are not able to attend. A viewing is open for family and friends July 24th, 2020 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm at the Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703 13 St N, Lethbridge as well as from 12:00 to 12:50 pm prior to the service at the church.
