Joseph Dillabough Obituary

Joseph (Harold) Dillabough, age 69, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024, at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Joseph was born September 5, 1955 in Ottawa, ON to Roy and Evelyn Dillabough. Besides his parents, Joseph is predeceased by his siblings – Bruce, Wally, Linda, and Andy.

He is survived by his Wife Rosa Garcitos Dillabough, Sister Carol Dube and three sons and Nine grandchildren : Rob (Terri) and children Joshua and Jaxon; Chris; and Shawn (Natacha) and children Bryson, Landyn, and Jakob, Aurora, Natalee, Felix, and Savanah

who will forever cherish his memory.

Joseph was a devoted father, husband, and friend, whose kindness and warmth touched everyone he met. His family was his pride and joy, and he always made time for those he loved. Known for his ability to not only fix anything, but his willingness to help anyone that needed or asked. Whether that was a 3am tire change or fixing one of the grandchildren’s ride on cars. He enjoyed tinkering with automotives, and often could be found out back tearing something apart with a coffee in hand. Joseph left a lasting impression on the hearts of many.

A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held on a date to be determined, where friends and family are welcome to share stories and memories of the wonderful man he was.

Joseph will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
