Jesse Soderstrom, November 16, 1990 – December 1, 2023
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jesse David James Soderstrom.
He leaves to mourn; his dad Dave Lawrence, mother Denise Soderstrom, stepmom Terri Langston, sister Chantelle Yssennagger, niece Saige, brother Mathew (Nicole) McQuarrie, niece Tamzin, nephew Alfred, grandma Soderstrom, grandma Langston, step-brothers Matthew Langston, Clayton York, and the love of his life Elizabeth “Liz” Potter.
Jesse was predeceased by his Grandpa Soderstrom, Grandma and Grandpa Lawrence, Uncle Merlin Soderstrom, and cousin Mason Soderstrom.
Jesse was extremely funny, fun loving, and quick witted, always with a sprinkle of sarcasm. He was very intelligent and liked to pursue many interests such as: history, cooking, music, guitar, and was blessed with an artist’s hand/eye. He loved skateboarding and was always up to try anything once. He was a very caring soul with the ability to engage with others of all ages and from all walks of life.
Jesse always had a way of making his favorite people feel supported and special, always letting you know in subtle ways with a wink, a nod, a cheeky grin, or hand signals that he had your back. Jesse will be missed by many who loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703 13 St N, Lethbridge.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Jesse’s name to the Boys and Girls Club of Lethbridge at 1405 8 Ave N, Lethbridge, AB T1H 6N9.
