Gordon Orville Wall

It is with shock and heavy hearts that the family of Gordon Orville Wall announce his passing on February 10th, 2024. 

Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, January 31st, 1952, Gord learned early on in life that he had a love for cars. He loved working in the shop and had a car painting business in Thunder Bay, Ontario, in his early years.  Blessed to be mechanically inclined, he spent many hours building and restoring his 1928 Essex, as well as his ‘57 Chevy Station Wagon, along with numerous other hot rods.  Always challenging himself with new projects, he designed and completed a hovercraft from scratch.  A man of many talents, he was creative, motivated and successful; accomplishing many projects for himself as well as others. His creations left everyone in awe of his talent, and his abilities never ceased to amaze us. He enthusiastically loved helping and teaching others his passion with cars, and this gave him a lot of fulfillment. 

Gord met the love of his life Judy, and they married in December 1999, blessing him with an instant family. He loved his family and was so proud to be a Father and Grandfather.  Being blessed with 5 children and an immediate family was such a huge blessing for him. Embracing Fatherhood as naturally as his passion for cars, Gord never missed an event. Gordon was a prankster and loved to play tricks on everyone, always ready for a good time with his family and friends. He loved when his family could be altogether. His smile was infectious and his hugs left you feeling so very loved.

We are all so very lucky to have had him in our lives. He will be deeply missed. 

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 17, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - 413 3 St, Stirling, AB, starting with a friends meet family from 11:00 AM-12:45 PM. Service at 1:00 PM, interment to follow at Stirling Cemetery. 

A luncheon will take place at the Lion's Hall in Stirling after the graveside.
