Evelyn was in her 91st year when she passed away in her sleep at Buffalo Grace Manor in Lethbridge.
She and her husband (Roy Sheppard) left their home in Burford Ontario to follow their two boys to Alberta.
Along with being a caring mother with a great sense of humour and friend, she was a trained hair dresser and VON.
She is survived by her son Keith (Karen) Sheppard, grandchildren Angela (Blake) Taylor and Aaron (Callie) Sheppard along with great grandchildren Brynne and Luke Taylor and Katelyn and Cole Sheppard.
Her other nieces, nephews and surviving brother still reside in southern Ontario.
