Diane Anderson Obituary

After a courageous battle with Cancer, Diane Teresa Anderson passed away peacefully at Lethbridge Regional Hospital, June 2, 2023 at age 59.

Diane was born on November 8, 1963 in Lethbridge to her loving parents Roland and Alice Anderson and raised with her two Brothers, Dan and James and two Sisters, Louise and Darlene.

She leaves behind her father and siblings as well as her husband Hank Teichroeb, her son Joshua Horvath, Daughters Anna Horvath and Ilea Wikdahl, grandchildren Zoey and Taedum and her cat Sniffles.

Diane’s life was far from easy but her perseverance, determination and strength left an impact on others that was powerful. Diane had a gift of connecting with people, understanding them and making them feel special, knowing that they matter. She came into our lives, laughed with us, cried with us, made us smile, took care of us and then left us all-too-soon. She always encouraged us to make the best of the hard times and face problems head on.

Diane was a loving Mother and Wife who naturally improved the quality of any life she touched.

She was a loyal friend, shoulder to cry on and the perfect fun-loving cohort for any celebration. Diane remained brave and iron-willed throughout her life, all the way to the finish line. She never let her pain get in the way of her light and let it shine onto all of us until her very last breath.

Death is nothing at all

“Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name; speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in your tone; wear no forced air of solemnity of sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Pray, smile, think of me. Let my name be every the household word that is always was, let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was; there is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well.” – Unknown Author
