Curtis James Carbert

Curtis James Carbert, of Lethbridge passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the age of 42 years.

Those who knew Curtis, even just a little, lost a Shining Light in their lives. He will not be defined by his addiction, but by his years of loving life.

Curtis James Carbert arrived into this world on February 4th 1980 and lived a full life until January 26th 2023. He was the proud father of four remarkable  children, Austin, Owen, Gemma and Evan and their mother Lisa Wrench. Holding memories deep in her heart is his mother, Betty Carbert (Darrell Piehl), his two brothers Chris Carbert and Matthew Carbert (Erin Carbert). He was predeceased by his father Glenn (Leslie Welling), in December of 2022. He was the loving uncle to Emily, Nolan, Kyler, and Alia. Curtis also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He had many friends, and if you were one of them, you had a friend for life.
 

Curtis's Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm in the Canadian Polish Hall, 745 13th Street North, Lethbridge on his 43rd birthday, February 4th, 2023. Ten minutes before service time a livestream link will appear at the bottom of this obituary for those that wish to view the service.

As many of you know, Curtis was a huge supporter of the Calgary Flames and we would love to see as many people as possible wearing Flames memorabilia.
