It is with sad hearts that we say goodbye to our good friend, Charles T. Kropf, who passed away at St. Michael’s Health Centre in Lethbridge on March 14, after a short fight with cancer. He was 80.
He leaves a son Steven, seven grandchildren and a daughter. He was predeceased by a daughter.
Charles had a career as a Red Seal Chef and he pampered his customers at various golf courses, which they greatly appreciated.
After he retired, he worked for the Lethbridge Herald delivering newspapers up until a few months prior to his hospitalization.
He enjoyed the outdoors, working on his RV and old boat, going camping and fishing at Payne Lake. He had a good sense of humor, but his daughter Kitty’s death was very painful.
He was always ready to help a friend. He will be greatly missed by his friend and guardian, Linda Riley, and friends Hans, Lucas, Bernard, Alex, Steve and the girls at Berts in Picture Butte.
He wanted his ashes to be spread where he fished. Rest in peace our dear friend.
