Scott Thomas Shields

Scott Thomas Shields of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away at home on April 28, 2026, at the age of 57 years.

He was born on February 15, 1969, in Lethbridge, Alberta, to Byron and Helena Shields. Along with his parents, Scott is survived by his sister Tammy (Brian) Hunt, his brother Spencer (Tia) Shields and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Scott was predeceased by his aunt Marlene Last and his grandparents Ned and Thelma Shields.

 Known for his love of music and movies, Scott enjoyed spending time with friends. Growing up, he was very active in the Scouts Canada Program and was very proud when he achieved the Chief Scout Award.

Scott graduated from Coalhurst High School in 1987. He then moved to Lethbridge where he worked at many different places. He enjoyed going to concerts by many artists. He loved to DJ at dances for many church functions and others. Scott always tried his best to reach out and stay in touch with his extended family. They were very important to him. He will be forever missed.

A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Centre - 2410 28 St S, Lethbridge, AB, with a friends meet the family at 10:00AM and service at 11:00AM. Live-stream will be available and a link will appear below this obituary 15 minutes before service time. Reception will follow.
