Romeo 'Romy' Ramirez

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Romeo “Romy” Ramirez, who passed away on October 31, 2026, at the age of 84.

Romy was a loving father to his daughter, Rainette Ramirez. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Lilia Devera, her husband Jaime, their children, and great-grandchildren.

Born in the Philippines, Romy had a curious mind and creative spirit. He enjoyed reading, completing crossword puzzles, and working with his hands, especially creating beautiful stained-glass pieces and woodworking projects. He was a man who always put others before himself, known for his kindness, loyalty, wonderful sense of humour, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever needed.

Romy was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and the CFC Servants of the Lord. Above all, he will be remembered for his generous heart, his thoughtfulness, and the love he shared with those around him.

A service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. with reception to follow, at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703 13 Street North, Lethbridge, Alberta.

Romy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
