Janice Froese-Yates

Janice Froese-Yates, age 64, of Judson, Alberta, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

 Born on March 5, 1962, Janice lived a life defined by hard work, a welcoming heart, and an unwavering love for her people. Over the years, she lent her talents to many different jobs, but her most recent chapter was spent working alongside her husband, Norm, painting houses. Together, they made a wonderful team, transforming spaces across the community before she stepped into her well-deserved retirement.

 Retirement gave Janice more time to dedicate to the things that brought her the greatest joy. She loved her yard, tending to it with care, and could always be found enjoying the outdoors with her beloved dog, Lucas, by her side. She also had a deep passion for creating beautiful quilts, pouring her time and care into each piece to gift to her family and friends. These handmade treasures remain a testament to her warmth and creativity.

 Above all, Janice loved her people. She had a rare accessibility; you could always count on her for a morning phone call over a warm cup of coffee, ready to catch up, share a laugh, or just offer a listening ear to start the day.

 Janice is survived by her devoted husband, Norm, and a close-knit circle of family and friends who will miss her morning chats and bright presence deeply.

 Janice will be privately remembered by her family.
