Elmer Sam Finley

Elmer Sam Finley passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026, at the age of 92 at Cedar Creek Assisted Living in Lethbridge, Alberta. Elmer was born November 23, 1933 at Kindersley, Saskatchewan.

Elmer is survived by his sisters, Marion Bauer and Vena (Philip) Banting, daughters, Donna (Ernie) Reid and Jean Hoobonof, his grandchildren, Christina (Mark) Stillman, Robert (Kim) Hoobonoff, Tracy Hoobonoff, Jason (Jayme) Finley and his great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Daxton, Sierra and Declan.

Elmer was predeceased by his wife Eleanor (nee Kitchen), his brothers, George, Elliot, Stanley, Fred, and his sisters Eileen (Roberts) ,and Ruth Finley, his son, David Finley and great-grandson, Curtis Reid.

Thank you to everyone who made his last years comfortable.
