Annie Lavinia Baker

Annie "Ann" Lavinia Baker, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2026 in Lethbridge Alberta. 

 Ann was born September 30th, 1936 in Fernie British Columbia to Ruby and Clement Marcer. She was the oldest of six children.

 She married Ernie Baker in 1955. They had 4 children and together their family enjoyed everything Fernie and the South Country had to offer. 

 Ann was an avid outdoors person. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, horseback riding, golfing, and skiing- just to mention a few of her passions. She was also a gifted wood carver and loved to spend time in her garden. 

 Ann served diligently in both her community and her church. 

 After Ernie’s passing in 2005, she moved to Lethbridge, where she resided until her passing.

 Ann was preceded in death by her dear husband, Ernie and her oldest son, David. She is lovingly survived by her daughter Lynn (Ed), and sons Warren (Debbie), and Ron, eleven grandchildren, and twenty five great-grandchildren. 

 To celebrate Ann's life, a Memorial Service will be held at the Lethbridge South Stake Center (2410 28 St. S, Lethbridge, AB) on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.  

Friends may meet the family before the service from 10-10:45 a.m. in the Relief Society room.
