Walter Edward Zobell

WALTER EDWARD "ED" ZOBELL July 15, 1938 - Nov 24, 2010 Peacefully passed away after many years and struggling with Dementia at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Brenda (nee Larsen) for 51 years. Loving father of Sandra (Brian), Richard (Tammy) and Deborah (Rob), Grandfather to Taylor & Shyla Hardekopf and Kyle Zobell. Ed was born in Raymond, Alberta and is predeceased by his parents Bill and Melva Zobell of Raymond and brother Bruce and two nephews, Quinton Zobell and Shane Sheridan. He is survived by brother Burt (Norma) of Coaldale, Pat Sheridan of Kimberly, BC and Lynda (Donald) Bakken of Calgary. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Although our hearts are full of sadness, we can rejoice that he is finally at peace and with our Heavenly Father. The family would like to thank the many caregivers over the years for their kindness and especially Edith Cavell staff during his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society of Lethbridge, 402-740-4 Ave. S., Lethbridge, AB T1J 0N9, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Box 2211, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4K7 in Ed's memory would be appreciated. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, LETHBRIDGE STAKE CENTRE, 2410-28 Street South, Lethbridge, AB. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
