WALTER JAMES MELVIN, beloved husband of Audrey, passed away at St. Michael's Palliative Care on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the age of 90 years. He is the loving father of: Diane (Bryan) Bates, John (Barb) Melvin, Walter (Leanne) Melvin, Lloyd (Marjorie) Sedgwick, Shirley (Les) Elliott, Barry (Sheila) Sedgwick, Randy Sedgwick, Debbie (Scott) Murakami, and Dennis (Judy) Brooks. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, with Major Brian Beveridge officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
