Umeno Nakamura

NAKAMURA, Umeno (Ruth) January 8, 1920 - July 26, 2008 Ruth passed away at Good Samaritan Society, Park Meadows Village on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the age of 88 years. She was born at Eburne, BC to Kumaichi and Masano (Miura) Honmura She is survived by her loving husband, Susumu, of 62 years; three daughters: Cheryl (Sye) Ali, Lethbridge; Starr (Garry) Mills, Wheatley, Ontario; Gay (Rob) Taylor, Ponoka, Alberta; daughter-in-law, Sandra Vickers, Sechelt, BC; five grandchildren: Jared Ali; Farah (Denny) Mellott; Bobbi Lynn (Dwayne) Anderson; Christopher and Chase Taylor; and five great grandchildren: Adriana, Mika and Hailea Anderson; Benjamin and Bradley Mellott. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Amy Nakamura, Taber, and brother-in-law, Teiji, Lethbridge, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Mary and her son, Robert (Bob). Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, with Reverend Y. Izumi officiating. Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery. No koden or flowers please!
