MRS. THELMA MAXINE SECRETAN 1926 - 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of THELMA MAXINE SECRETAN (nee Amen) on Friday, February 29, 2008 in Lethbridge, Alberta. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Arthur Secretan; children: Gary (Pat) Beaton, Connie (Phil) Curle and daughter-in-law Barb Secretan. Maxine is also survived by five grandchildren: Shannon (Les) Liska, Shane Curle, Dana Curle, Laine Secretan and David Secretan. She also has two cherished great grandchildren, Riley and Kelsey Liska. Maxine is also survived by her brothers: Nolan (Jean), Darryl (Mauneen), her sister Nova (Ford) and sister-in-law Evelyn. She is predeceased by a son, Gordon, in 1995. Maxine was born in Stirling, Alberta on November 7, 1926. She had a kind and generous heart and was happiest when serving others. She was always willing to serve, whether it was cooking meals, sewing clothing, cleaning houses, or visiting the members of her ward. Maxine served faithfully in her many church callings and will be greatly missed by all. Maxine was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother as well as a loving wife. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Lethbridge Northside Chapel, 2223-6 A. Avenue North, with Bishop Bob Bender officiating. Friends may meet the family prior to the service on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. Interment to follow in the Stirling Cemetery.
