Shirley Nilsson

SHIRLEY TOBY DELMARK NILSSON passed away on Monday, August 3, 2009 just a few days short of her 72nd birthday. She is survived by her loving husband, Dean Nilsson of Lethbridge, and by her three sisters and one brother: Doreen (Nick) Onofrychuck, Rae Bastian, Bill (Freda) Delmark and family and Carole (Ed) Turner and family. She is also survived by Dean's brothers: Byron (Irma) Nilsson, Bert Nilsson and family and Garth (Nellie) Nilsson and family. Shirley was predeceased by her parents: Bill and Helen Delmark, and brothers and sisters-in-law: Bernard Bastian, Rex and Marge Cahoon and Muriel Nilsson. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON FUNERAL HOME, 327-10 Street South, Lethbridge. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317-10 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 2M7; or to St. Michael's Health Care Centre, Palliative Care Unit, 1400-9 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4V5.
