MR. SHERWIN WILCOX NALDER, beloved husband of Barbara Jean Nalder, passed away in Raymond on Friday, September 21, 2007 at the age of 79 years. Sherwin was born in Raymond, Alberta on October 31, 1927. Growing up in Raymond he was active in many sports. Sherwin married Barbara in 1954 and moved to Great Falls, Montana where they lived until 1969, then they made the decision to return to Canada, settling in Taber with their four children. Sherwin was well known in Taber as the "milkman", providing door to door milk delivery for many of Taber's residents, something he enjoyed doing up until his retirement. Sherwin was an active member in the LDS church and enjoyed his nine years serving in the Temple. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed by all. Sherwin is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara; children: Wayne (Bev), Diane (Tony) Zilinski, Jim (Tovi); loving grandchildren: Eric, Cory, Kevin, Brandon, Kristin and Celeste; brothers: Bill (Ruth), Alan, and sister Barbara (Richard) Lindberg. Sherwin was predeceased by his parents, Clifton and Eulala; sister, Marie; son, Ron; and granddaughter Julie. Friends may meet the family on Monday evening, September 24 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church or prior to the service on Tuesday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Knight Street Chapel, 260 East, 200 North, Raymond, with Bishop Richard Wilde officiating. Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.
