Sakatomi Yamamoto

YAMAMOTO SAKATOMI YAMAMOTO, beloved husband of the late Fusae Yamamoto, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the age of 99 years, just three weeks before his 100th birthday. He is survived by his son, Dick (Sue) - Craig, Brent; and daughter Irene; sister-in-law May Matsumiya, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Fusae. Sakatomi loved sports, especially the Blue Jays baseball. He was a handyman who could fix most anything, and he loved gardening. He led an active life up until last year. In accordance to his wishes, no funeral service will be held. Friends and family are invited to meet with Sakatomi's family on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge. Flowers and koden are gratefully declined. However, for those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation, 960-19 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 1W5.
