Rulon Hirsche

RULON WILLIS HIRSCHE, beloved husband of the late Stella Atwood Hirsche, passed away in Fort Macleod on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the age of 90 years. He is the loving father of: Roger (Bonnie) of Sherwood Park, AB, Jim (Marina) of Whitehorse, Yukon, and Sherry of Lethbridge. He is survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and sister Virginia Jones, a sister-in-law Hazel Atwood, and numerous nieces and nephews. Rulon was predeceased by his wife, Stella, of almost 66 years (November 14, 2007), his parents Samuel and Rosa (Schaffer) Hirsche and 3 sisters and 8 brothers. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Fort Macleod Stake Centre, with Bishop Duane Foote officiating. Friends may meet the family prior to the service at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment to follow in the Union Cemetery, Fort Macleod. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 210-D, 12 'A' Street North, Lethbridge, AB T1H 2J1, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #207-542-7 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 2H1.
