
ROY FRANKLIN PUFFER, beloved husband of 55 years of Ethel Puffer of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the age of 82 years, surrounded by his family. He is the loving father of Wendy (Calvin) Lindgren of Onoway, AB, Kathleen Puffer of Lethbridge, Colleen Bamford of Edmonton, and Deborah (Jeff) Puffer of Calgary. Roy leaves behind six grandchildren: Dale (Amy), Terry (Adrienne), Tanice (Daryl), Alexis (Zoltan), Jacque (Kenny) and Cassandra (Colin); and 12 great grandchildren: Raeanne, Brody, Jace, Rylan, Madison, Jordyn, Karissa, Paige, Kaycie, Lemmy, Zamora, and Sarah. He is also survived by two brothers: Wilfred (Marva) Puffer and Pat Puffer, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his sister Janet McFayden of Gerrards Cross, England in 2005. Roy was born and raised in Lacombe, Alberta, which is where he met and married Ethel. He retired on November 9, 1989 after 34 years of service as a weather briefer. He will be lovingly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge.
