Robert Williams

ROBERT (BOB) WILLIAMS of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at the age of 74 years. Bob is survived by his sweetheart Grace, and will be dearly missed by his five children: Bryon (Carla), Ron (Vera), Lori (Harold) Murray, Donna (Jake) Loose and David. He leaves behind 17 grandkids: Cody, Colin, Kim, Tyler, Dylan, Natasha (Mark), Nathan, Adam, Christina, Shayla, Alyssa, Jason, Katelyn, Jordan, Miranda, Jessica and Bryce. Bob is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Ginu Poersch, Phyllis Jones, Evan (Audrey), Edith (Hubert) Warren, Grace McLeod, Glen (Helen); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was predeceased by his parents Maldwyn and Edith Williams, his sister Gwyneth Poersch, brother James and brother-in-law Ira Jones. Bob was born March 19, 1933 in Hanna, Alberta. He was raised on the home farm west of Champion. Bob and Grace were married on August 9, 1957. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year surrounded by family and friends. Bob was a faithful member of the Church. He will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humor, and his devotion to his family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Wong, Dr. Cal Stewart, Dr. Holland and the staff on 5B, 4C and ICU for their thoughtful care. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Lethbridge Stake Centre, 2410-28 Street South with Bishop Gordon Smith officiating. Friends may meet the family at the Church prior to the service on Tuesday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. or on Monday, December 17 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Church. Interment at the Magrath Cemetery, Magrath, Alberta.
