
The family of RICHARD BARRY CLARK announce the passing of their beloved husband and father at the age of 60 years on Monday, December 27, 2010 at lost lake(hidden/CPR lake), while ice surfing with a couple of his best friends. He is survived by his wife Vicky Clark and daughter Jacqueline Christine Clark (Ben Foreman). He is also survived by his mother Ruth Leavitt, sisters Karen (Bill) Rice and Susan (Mark) Adams and sister-in-law Ann Clark as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his father-in-law Grant Palmer as well as Vicky's brothers and their wives and families. He is predeceased by his father Reginald Clark, brother Ronald Clark and mother-in-law Winifred Palmer. Richard was born in Calgary, AB on January 3, 1950 the eldest son of Ruth and Reginald Clark. He lived in Calgary, Edmonton and finally Lethbridge where he spent the majority of his life. He met his soul mate Vicky shortly after his dad passed away and they were married October 26, 1974. Their daughter Jackie arrived in 1979 and was the joy of his life. The Clark family resided in Lethbridge and then moved to the County of Lethbridge where he resided till his passing. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, NORTHSIDE CHAPEL, 2223-6 A. Avenue North, Lethbridge, with Bishop Les Gugyelka officiating. Friends may meet the family prior to the service at the church from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers and donations we ask that you live one day with Richard in your heart, give your spouse a kiss, tell your dad you love him, give yourself an extra mulligan, go a little faster and lean a little farther into each corner, set your sail downwind and let out a huge howl when you go.
