Randy Schimpf

SCHIMPF RANDY PAUL SCHIMPF of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away at home on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Randy will be forever loved and remembered by his wife, Peggy Wiggill Schimpf, his daughters: Kennedy (Jesse) Rawleigh, Cody (Jordan) Arcus, and Kelsey (Scott) Smith. "Papa" will always be remembered by his grandchildren: Trayden and Blakely Arcus, Denver and Jensen Rawleigh. Randy is also survived by his siblings: Barry (Susan) Schimpf, Sandie (Vic) Peskett, Monty (Liza) Schimpf, Daneen Beertema (Greg); mother-in-law Retta Wiggill; sister-in-law Julie (Tracy) Leavitt, and brother-in-law Ron (Betty) Wiggill. Randy was a loving husband, father and papa. He was a talented bricklayer and stone mason. He was a hard-worker and a dedicated family man. Years of hunting, fishing, and camping with his family were the highlights of his life. Randy will be truly missed by all who knew him. The Funeral Service and Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, LETHBRIDGE EAST STAKE CENTRE, 4105 Forestry Avenue South, Lethbridge, with Bishop Mike Evans officiating. Everyone may meet the family prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will take place at the Cardston Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
