Phyllis Nilsson

NILSSON PHYLLIS ETHEL NILSSON, beloved wife of Ross, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2007 in Raymond at the age of 89 years. She is the loving mother of Janet Dudley of Lethbridge, Darlyne (John) Jewitt of Vancouver, Val Nilsson (Kevin Anderson) of Magrath, Roslynn (Don) Heggie of Raymond, and Bruce Nilsson of Lethbridge. Besides her husband Ross, she is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother, Annie Bailey; her father, George Bailey; her sister, Pat Berndt; and her brother, Jack Bailey. Phyllis was born on April 4, 1918 in Rudyard, Montana. She married Ross Nilsson in 1946 and lived in Raymond for the remainder of her life. Her children and grandchildren were the highlight of her life. A Private Family service will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to either The Canadian Cancer Society, 317 - 10 St. S.
