Phillip Wilde

Phillip David Wilde, son of David and Verla Wilde, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 28, 2009 at the age of 41 years. His daughter, Patsy Lucas of Stirling, AB was the light of his life and they loved spending time together. He is survived by sisters Sandy Hinman of Lethbridge, and Nerida (Derek) Reichman of Spokane, Washington. Also James (Tausha) Milner, of Calgary and Joni (Allen - deceased), of Welling along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Allen, in 2001 and his father, David in 2002. Phillip was born September 26, 1967 in Calgary. He was raised on the family farm in Welling and attended schools in Raymond and Magrath. He has resided for the last several years in Coaldale and enjoyed working at the Keho golf course where he passed away. He was an avid fan of Nascar and loved to golf and camp. Phillip was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed. He was our big "teddy bear". The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS in Welling, Alberta with Bishop Byron Wilde officiating. Friends may meet the family at the church prior to the service on Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45. a.m. Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.
