Orton Rolfson

ORTON BRUCE ROLFSON passed away in Lethbridge on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the age of 53 years. He is the loving father of: Sheila (Jeff) Smigel of Calgary, Lisa (Reuben) Chin of Calgary, and David Rolfson of Calgary. He leaves behind two grandchildren: Alia and Trista Chin. He is also survived by his siblings: Kent (Bernice) Rolfson, Kay (Dennis) Fromm, Judy (Jay) Thomas and Jack (Becky) Rolfson. He was predeceased by his parents, Virginia and Wilson Rolfson. Bruce was born in Raymond on December 5, 1953. He served in Kentucky/Tennessee on an LDS Mission. Later he studied broadcasting at Rick's College. Bruce enjoyed meeting new people and learning greetings in their native languages. He was a friend who never forgot your birthday or other important dates. Bruce was always very proud of his children and two grandchildren and their accomplishments. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. "We love you Dada." Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Raymond Stake Centre, Raymond, Alberta, with Bishop Steve Kutanzi officiating. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.
