Norman Howden

HOWDEN NORMAN DELMER HOWDEN passed away January 17, 2014 in Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 94. He was born June 10, 1919 in Aldersyde, Alberta to Joseph Henry and Minnie Huffman Howden. He married LaVonne Albiston on March 15, 1947. She preceded him in death in 1997. He married Edith Holt on June 28, 1998. She preceded him in death in 2012. He is also preceded in death by his parents and brothers Howard and Bud and a sister Marge. He is survived by his children: Larry (Jolene) Howden and Wendy (David) Schvaneveldt, 9 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, and a sister Ellen Huish. He is also survived by Edith's family: Edwin (LeAnne) Holt, Wayne (Barbara) Holt, Marlene (Bruce) Fawns, Evelyn Baker, 18 grandchildren and 58 great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 7-8 p.m. at the EVERGREEN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 327-10 St South, Lethbridge. The interment will be at the Cardston Cemetery on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317-10 St. South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 2M7.
