Nelda Walburger

NELDA ARTHEL WALBURGER (nee ORR) 1935 ~ 2014 NELDA ARTHEL WALBURGER (nee Orr) passed away peacefully at her home in Lethbridge on September 13, 2014 at the age of 79 years. Nelda was a loving mother and a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony and love of God. Orton was home in her childhood and youth. Later she raised her family nestled in the hills near Mountain View. As a mature student of BYU she studied library science. She returned to her childhood home in Orton for several years before finally settling in Lethbridge where she developed many close friendships. She lived her life caring for, and serving others. She had a life-long love of gardening, family history and socializing with family and friends. Her dedication to her God led her to serve three missions for the church. Nelda is survived by her children, Kim (Lani), Kelly, Deanne, Darrel (Diana), and Nicole (Bill); her siblings, Lynn (Maureen), Genille, Anona (Colin), and Blair (Mylene), as well as 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Lee and Viola Orr who have welcomed her home. The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints FAIRMONT CHAPEL, 205 Fairmont Blvd S, Lethbridge on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Friends may visit the family at 1:00 p.m. at the church, prior to the service.
