Myron Fletcher

MYRON (Jiggs) EUGENE FLETCHER, beloved husband of Doris Fletcher of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on Sunday, January 14, 2007 at the age of 87 years. He is the loving father of: Linda Fletcher of Lethbridge, Darlene (Bruce) Twa of Turk and Caicos Islands, Shirley (Paul) Blogorodow of Lethbridge, Sylvia Orsten of Lethbridge, and Bonnie (Glenn) Fletcher of Calgary. Myron leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Myron is also survived by a sister-in-law Fanny Fletcher (Van Orman); stepchildren: Ty (Debbie), Terry, Charlotte (Rodney), Blair (Cathy) and Dwight (Wanda). He is predeceased by his first wife, Viola Fletcher, his parents and brothers. He loved his children, grandchildren and adoring wife very much. He was an honest man which shone through his work as a traveling salesman and was appreciated by all throughout his lifetime. He was an avid baseball player, coach and fan. Myron loved his hockey and golf and was quite the pool shark. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Lethbridge Stake Centre, 2410-28 Street South, with Elder Christopher Bennett officiating. Interment in the Magrath Cemetery. Friends may meet the family on Thursday, January 18 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, or prior to the service at the church on Friday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m.
