Moriguma Tokunaga

MR. MORIGUMA TOKUNAGA, beloved husband of Kiyoka of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michaels Health Centre on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the age of 98 years. He is the loving father of: Akio (Lynn) Tokunaga of Edmonton, Anne (Neal) Kain of Calgary, Rick (Elvina) Tokunaga of Vulcan, and Marion (Murray) Wiens of Coaldale. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by an infant son Wayne Hideo. Moriguma was born in Kagoshima, Japan and came to Canada in 1934. He married Kiyoka on November 10, 1948. They settled in the Picture Butte area where he farmed until retirement. Besides the love for his family, he had great passion for gardening and fishing. At his request, a private family funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers and koden, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Lung Association, P.O. Box 4500, Stn.
