Mildred Yanke

MILDRED YANKE April 4, 1928 - July 26, 2009 MILDRED YANKE passed away in her daughter's arms, Sunday, July 26, 2009 at the Chinook Regional Hospital, at the age of 81 years. She will be sadly missed by her son, Wes (Jackie) Yanke of Medicine Hat and daughter Myrna (Guy) Matheson of Granum. Also missing Grama are four grandchildren: Jody Yanke of Medicine Hat, Michael Yanke of Edmonton, Ryan (Shawna) Felesky of Edmonton, Monica (Matthew) Taylor of New Dayton; two great grandchildren, Rylan and Reid Felesky, and daughter-in-law Dolores Yanke. Mildred is also survived by a brother Earl (Marley) Becker of Arizona. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Alfred, July 19, 2008, and son Glenn January 13, 2007. Words cannot describe what a kind and loving person Mom was. It was endless to what she would do for her family and friends. She would absolutely "Sparkle" when she could do something for someone and make them smile. Mom never ran out of hugs, and everyone that knew her will feel the loss of this wonderful lady. Mildred's final resting place will be with her husband, following a private family service. "God broke our hearts to prove, he only takes the best"
