Max Wendorff

MAX PAUL REINHOLD WENDORFF SR., beloved husband of Beth, passed away suddenly in Raymond on Monday, April 6, 2009 at the age of 75 years. He is the loving father of: Max and Sharon, Mark and Cathy, Rod and Sherri, and Rena and Darryl, all of Raymond. He is survived by 16 grandchildren: Kerrie, Alicia (Cam), Karli (Kyle); Cody, Corbin, Shyan, Caycee; Chase (Naomi), Emily (Larry), Bradyn (Nikki), Saralynn, Mark, Miriam; Kristen, Kassidy, Hannah; eight great grandchildren; Brody, Zoey, Ava, Jaxen; Kiah, Cayden, Tanner, Hattie. Max is also survived by two sisters: Gisela Vos and Isolda West. Max was predeceased by his parents Paul and Elsa Wendorff. Max was born in the Harz Mountain of Germany on July 17, 1933. In the early 1950's Max and his family immigrated to Taber, AB. He met his future wife in 1955 and they were married on December 22, 1955 in the Cardston Alberta Temple. In 1966 the family moved to Raymond where they raised their four children. Max enjoyed boating, fishing and spending quality time with his grandkids. Friends may meet the family prior to the service on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the church from 1:00 to 1:50 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Knight Street Chapel, Raymond, with Bishop Robert Baker officiating. Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery.
