Max Gurney

GURNEY MAX GLEN GURNEY, age 83, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 27th at the Raymond Hospital after a brief illness. He was born December 19th, 1930 in Lethbridge to Glen and Mary (Bingham) Gurney and spent his growing up years in Magrath and his adult life in Lethbridge. Max called himself a farmer but also enjoyed tinkering with old cars and engaging conversations. He was a reliable friend to many over the years. Max was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his sister Jean and Ron Passey of Magrath and their four children. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30th at the Magrath Cemetery.
