Mary Fairbanks

FAIRBANKS MARY WALKER FAIRBANKS, beloved wife of the late Paul Fairbanks, passed away at the Raymond Hospital on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the age of 95 years. Some of the notable qualities of Mary were her devotion to her family and her service in the community and church. She had a great sense of humour, loved people, and demonstrated many acts of compassion. Mary is survived by her children: Bryan (Rebecca) Fairbanks; Stuart (Linda) Fairbanks; LuAnne (Barry) Wolsey; Lloyd (Jackie) Fairbanks; Romay Fairbanks, many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her siblings Ralph Walker and Reed Walker. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Paul Fairbanks (1969), Joyce Fairbanks (daughter-in-law) and Autumn Dunn (great granddaughter). Friends may meet the family on Friday, April 11 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the LDS - Knight Street Chapel, Raymond, or prior to the Funeral Service on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, KNIGHT STREET CHAPEL, 260 E 200 N, Raymond with Bishop Noel Smith conducting. Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond. The family would like to thank the staff of The Good Samaritan Prairie Ridge Facility and the Raymond Hospital for the excellent care she received. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Raymond Museum or the Raymond Library.
