Mark Bourque

Mark Patrick Bourque born August 6, 1986 in Lethbridge, Alberta, beloved son of Patrick and Lois Bourque, passed away peacefully at Lethbridge Regional Hospital on Monday, December 29, 2008 at the age of 22 years. Mark was a loving brother to Renee (Norman) Bowden, Matthew (Stacey) Bourque, Michael (Hanna) Bourque and Joseph (Samantha) Bourque. He was also a proud and devoted uncle to Austin and Dallan Bowden, Cole and Lukas Bourque as well as uncle and proud Godfather to Nevaeh Bowden all of Lethbridge, Alberta. Mark is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Ray and Joan Cripps of Miramichi, New Brunswick as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Percy and Anne Bourque of Saint John, New Brunswick. Mark was a devoted and loving son, brother and uncle. Mark's heart was bursting with life, love and affection. There are no words to express how much he meant to his loved ones and in turn what they meant to him. He was always willing to share his unwavering love with those around him. Mark thoroughly enjoyed high school and all the friends he made. He proudly graduated from Kate Andrews High School in 2005. Mark also loved to watch and play all sports and was currently a member of the Special Olympics floor hockey team. For the last five years Mark has been dedicated to his work at the Rehoboth Christian Ministries Vocational Centre where he enjoyed many opportunities to expand his knowledge and make new friends. Mark will be greatly missed and never forgotten by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. The impact that Mark had on the lives of the people he touched will live on forever in their hearts. "We Love You Marko" A visitation will be held at GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass is to be celebrated at ST. BASIL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604-13 Street North, on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 10:00 am, with Fr. Raul Hernandez, celebrant. Interment to follow at the Mountain View Cemetery.
