Marilyn spent all of her childhood years living in Raymond. She was very active in her youth and loved playing sports and going on outings with her family and friends to Waterton. She had a special appreciation for the "out of doors" and her eyes were very attuned to God's creations. She always commented on how beautiful nature was and shared this love often with her family. Marilyn was very compassionate and had a unique ability to connect with every person she met. She applied these wonderful abilities as a nurse and served in that capacity in several places - Rexburg, ID, Provo, UT, Bow Island and in the Raymond Hospital. While working in long term care, she developed a special love for seniors and those struggling at the end of life. She was a great source of comfort for residents and their families and served them with great love. Marilyn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities. She enjoyed her Church responsibilities and had many opportunities to serve others. During recent times, she has had much of that service returned to her with special acts of kindness while coping with her illness. Marilyn's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and caregivers at both the Raymond Health Centre and the Magrath Community Health and Assisted Living Centre. Many went the extra-mile making Marilyn comfortable when she needed it most.
