PRATT Mrs. Marilyn Pratt passed away suddenly on January 5, 2012 at the age of 57. Marilyn was born December 22, 1954 in Coaldale, Alberta, daughter of Edward and Inez Kasner. In 1974 she married her sweetheart Kenneth in the Cardston Alberta Temple. They have shared a beautiful and sacred marriage for 37 years and counting. They are the parents of Kurtis (Alexis), Shauna and grandparents to Kira and Elaina who are the light and joy of their life. Marilyn awaited, with great anticipation, the arrival of twin granddaughters to be born later this year. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents in 1998 and 1993. She is survived by her siblings Calvin (Marlene), Joyce, Edith (Kusty), Elaine (Art), Eva (Charlie), Linda (Edward), Sandra, and Ronald (Cindy). She is also survived by her mother and father in law Dixie and John Pratt and their daughter Bev (Dave). Marilyn's first priority was her role as a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Singing, making baby size cookies and doing crafts with her grandchildren will always be a cherished memory for them. Marilyn had a great love for music and taught herself to sing with perfect pitch and play the piano and organ. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and greatly enjoyed sharing her talents and love of the gospel with the children and adults she taught. Her infectious giggle and compassionate spirit will be a happy memory for all those whose lives she blessed. Friends may attend the viewing at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703 - 13 Street North, Lethbridge, on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. or at the church from 12:00 to 12:45 prior to the service.
